Cookie Policy

MPListing uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and to understand how it is used. This policy explains which cookies we use and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Essential Cookies

These are required for the site to function and are set by MPListing itself:

• PHPSESSID (session cookie) – keeps you logged in while you browse. Deleted when you close your browser or log out.
• csrfToken – protects forms (login, listings, reviews, quote requests) against cross-site request forgery. Deleted when you close your browser.

Blocking these will prevent login, account and form features from working.

Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded directly and through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use MPListing (for example which pages and categories are popular) so we can improve the service. Google Analytics sets these first-party cookies:

• _ga – distinguishes visitors. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_4FWL9EJ82J – keeps track of your session state. Expires after 2 years.

The information these cookies collect (such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site) is processed by Google on our behalf. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies; it only loads the tags we configure.

What We Don't Do

MPListing does not currently use advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

Managing Cookies

• You can view, clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will log you out and may stop some features from working.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Changes

If we add new cookies – for example advertising or other third-party tags through Google Tag Manager – we will update this page before they are used.
